2 Sinus Lift
Sinus lift surgery is also known as maxillary sinus elevation. This procedure is performed on patients who do not have enough bone height to support a dental implant, or whose sinuses may be too large or close together for an implant. Sinus lift surgery promotes greater dental implant stability using a bone graft. Dr. Tony Hong performs sinus lift surgeries to help patients receive ultra-secure dental implants!
3 Tooth Extractions
Tooth extractions can be performed for a number of reasons. At Clear Smile Dental Care, we typically perform tooth extractions in an emergency procedure following injury or trauma, or for prevention, such as wisdom teeth removal.
Dr. Hong will also provide dental extractions for patients who are experiencing significant discomfort and pain, or who have an infection caused by severe tooth damage. Depending on the severity and placement of the tooth, Dr. Hong may perform a simple extraction or surgical extraction. Before any extraction is performed, Dr. Hong will complete a thorough dental exam with a set of digital x-rays to determine the full extent of the damage.
4 Wisdom Tooth Removal
Because the best time to remove the wisdom teeth depends on a number of factors unique to each patient, Dr. Hong will use our state-of-the-art imaging tools to determine the best time for you to undergo this procedure. If you suspect you or your child will need to undergo wisdom teeth extraction, contact us for a surgical consultation. While not every patient will need their wisdom teeth removed, leaving them untreated can contribute to orthodontic problems, severe pain, shifting of the teeth, and even severe infections.
